CEU Booklets and HBV Vaccines • March 23rd, 2009
Hello to everyone. Just a quick note for the C.N.A.’s, the CEU booklets will be ready by the end of this month and we will be getting more information out as soon as we can.
Secondly, Hepatitis B is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis B virus (HBV). It ranges in severity from a mild illness, lasting a few weeks (acute), to a serious long-term (chronic) illness that can lead to liver disease or liver cancer. Hepatitis B can be transmitted by contact with injected blood, semen, and other body fluids. The hepatitis B vaccination is recommended for all health care workers. If you are interested in getting the vaccine – call us in HR to get it set up.
Lastly, we have scheduled our summer picnic for Monday, June 8th, at Morse Park. So be sure to mark your calendars for this fun day.
