New Hire, Summer Picnic and CCDC • March 23rd, 2009

We hope everything is going well.  We have hired one more nurse and hopefully have every area covered so we will not keep changing primary nurses.  Believe it or not, we have therapist (PT and OT) available to pick up cases in certain areas.  Call Rebecca if you have the need for in home therapy.

Pat Lankford just returned from another wound care conference – if you have any questions re: skin, wounds or other clinical issues – give her a call.

A few other reminders – call the office if there are any hospital admissions, surgeries, or other medical updates.  If you are going out of town this summer, please let us know so we can schedule nursing around your trip.

We will be having different booths at the summer picnic this year – it will be a “mini” fair.  Let me know if you have any ideas on vendors or if you would be interested in having a booth.

I am on the CCDC (Colorado Cross Disability Coalition) fundraising committe – they are selling vegetable and flower seeds this spring.  The seeds are organic and the proceeds to to CCDC, an organization that continues to fight for disability rights.  If you are interested in supporting CCDC, go to www.botanicalinterests.com/nonprofits.php and select CCDC as the organization, and buy as many seeds as you want.
