We just got word from Mayor Hickenlooper the Democratic candidate for Governor that he will be available for a CCDC organized candidate forum on September 14th at noon. This will be a forum where all candidates for governor will address the disability community on the issues that we find important.A location will be announced as soon as we have it – probably at the University of Denver. THIS IS OUR CHANCE to show our power. Please mark your calendar, cancel any other commitments, and make sure you and your friends and families show up at this event. All candidates for Governor will be invited. We need to make sure that they know we can turn out a crowd and that people with disabilities vote!!!
