The InnovAge Moonlight Classic presented by Kaiser Permanente is a late night bike ride benefitting the InnovAge Foundation (formerly Total Community Options Foundation). The ride helps the Foundation and Kaiser Permanente to increase awareness and support of programs that allow aging individuals to live independently and with dignity in their own homes and communities.
The InnovAge Moonlight Classic, which is celebrating its 20th year, will take place on Saturday, July 14th, 2012, from 8:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The 10-mile, non-competitive ride begins and ends at the Colorado State Capitol, taking cyclists through Denver’s historic neighborhoods, including the business district, Lower Downtown, Congress Park, and the Cherry Creek shopping district! With the support of the City of Denver and the Denver Police Department, the course is closed to automobile traffic allowing participants to ride safely on city streets.
