Pediatric Personal Care Virtual Presentation
Pediatric Personal Care – An Extra Set of Hands for Special Needs Families
Presented by PASCO
Wednesday, May 18th | 6-7 pm
On Zoom and Livestreamed on Facebook
Pediatric Personal Care is a Medicaid benefit that can pay a trusted friend or family member to help your child with bathing, dressing and other daily living needs. The child does not need to be enrolled in a waiver program and the caregiver does not need to be a CNA.
We encourage all families to join the Autism Community Store for an educational presentation on the benefits of Pediatric Personal Care. Representatives from PASCO will answer the questions:
· How does the Pediatric Personal Care program work?
· Who qualifies for Pediatric Personal Care?
· Who can become a personal care provider?
· How can you get started?
PASCO has been providing care to individuals with disabilities since 1992. In 2001 PASCO’s founder Barry Rosenberg advocated alongside Colorado families and lawmakers to establish a program that allows family members to be paid to deliver care to their loved ones. Through continued advocacy and support this Family Caregiver Program has expanded to include Family CNA, In-Home Support Services, Pediatric Personal Care, and I/DD. PASCOHH.COM
