Wellness days are available for FREE to individuals with disabilities in the state of Colorado. Wellness Days are a new program provided by The Chanda Plan Foundation on a Tri-annual basis. Each year, “Wellness Days” provides our community with something new while focusing on education of integrative therapies and practicing wellness in everyday life.

Assisted Cycling Tours is Recruiting Riders to Promote the Abilities of People with Disabilities
Arvada, CO – Assisted Cycling Tours is recruiting participants for several riding events around the state of Colorado including the MS 150, Ride the Rockies, Elephant Rock and Ride to Victory. They are seeking people with and without disabilities to ride together as a team in these events.
AbilityCAMP – National Sports Center for the Disabled
The NSCD is partnering with professional sports franchises, regional parks and recreation agencies, therapeutic agencies across the United States and the US Paralympic Sports Academy to host our newest program, AbilityCAMP. These free, interactive camps feature basic drills adapted to individuals with any type of disability ages 6 to 18. The 2-hour camps include instruction, use of equipment and will wrap up with a lunch or snack celebration for all. There also may be appearances by players or alumni players, mascots and coaches. The camps are perfect for anyone interested in learning about a sport, developing a new skill, or just having fun!
The Colorado Wheelchair Tennis Foundation
The Colorado Wheelchair Tennis Foundation’s mission is to “Promote wheelchair tennis throughout the state of Colorado to players of all ages, sex, race and levels of play; act as a resource to further the development of the state’s competitive players; and encourage the incorporation of wheelchair tennis into the mainstream.
Denver Parks and Recreation Special Needs Program
Provides an opportunity, through community based therapeutic recreation programs for citizens with disabilities to develop physical, mental, emotional, social and leisure skills necessary to participate in a continuum of activities which will enhance their well-being.
North American Riding for the Handicapped Association
Formed in 1969 to promote equine-assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) for individuals with special needs. In addition to therapeutic riding, our centers offer a number of therapeutic equine-related activities, including hippotherapy, equine facilitated mental health, driving, interactive vaulting, competition, ground work and stable management.

All Abilities Summer Camp
CTRC’s All Abilities Summer Camp is an opportunity for children with and without disabilities to gain riding skills and learn about horses in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
Adaptive Adventures
Adaptive Adventures opens the doors to hope and allows people to realize their dreams. Program participants enjoy fresh air, rushing water, and abundant sunshine as they glide down ski slopes, cut through the water in a kayak or wakeboard, or bike through the Rocky Mountains.
