"They help keep the employee organized with regards to the administrative area of our job. I appreciate that because having a disabled child, I am a full time administrative assistant for him. I thank God for PASCO and for keeping me on the ball with reminders."

Environmental Integration & Sustainability

Personal Assistance Services of Colorado prides itself on its energy efficiency, recycling and reusing campaigns, as well as its forward looking approach to sustainable commerce.  Employees are given incentives for purchasing “hybrids” and lessening their “carbon-footprints.”  Having grown nearly 29.5 % last year, our paper usage only went up 13%.  We have also retroactively fitted our office with water efficient toilets and sinks, as well as installing Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs (CFL’s).In 2008 PASCO was honored with a bronze achievement award from the Environmental Leadership Office of Environmental Integration & Sustainability.

PASCO Saves A Forest

PASCO is continuing full speed ahead in its recycling program.  Last year, 2008, PASCO saved 33 trees through its shred-it recycling program.  That’s almost a forest.  Or at least a nice little grove.  But add all the years we have been participating and it would be a forest.  That does not include 24+ dumpsters full of cardboard, cans and containers we recycle in the parking lot.  Keep up the good work.  Next stop is the Silver Award in the Environmental Leadership Program.  If you have any good ideas for new ways to recycle please email us at judy@pascohh.com we’d love to hear your ideas.
