Environmental Integration & Sustainability

Personal Assistance Services of Colorado prides itself on its energy efficiency, recycling and reusing campaigns, as well as its forward looking approach to sustainable commerce.  Employees are given incentives for purchasing “hybrids” and lessening their “carbon-footprints.”  Having grown nearly 29.5 % last year, our paper usage only went up 13%.  We have also retroactively fitted our office with water efficient toilets and sinks, as well as installing Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs (CFL’s).In 2009 PASCO installed Photo-Voltaic (PV) Solar Panels, further reducing its carbon footprint. In 2008, PASCO was honored with a Bronze Achievement Award from the Environmental Leadership Office of Environmental Integration & Sustainability. In 2009, PASCO received the Silver Achievement Award from the same organization.
