Personal Assistance Services of Colorado has reliably provided services to persons with disabilities for over 20 years. Locally owned and operated and Medicaid/Medicare certified, PASCO is continually striving to improve upon the existing home health model, PASCO has been thoughtful in how it ensures that the best possible care is achieved the first time…all the time for the handicapped community. From a comprehensive back-up system, to an advanced telephone program, PASCO has been able to see that its consumers remain as autonomous as they choose, while also having the peace of mind that comes with a reliable back-up system. Working collectively with many other disability support services (Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition [CCDC], ADAPT, The Colorado Legal Center, Family Voices, Parent to Parent) PASCO’s commitment to service does not solely come from home-health, but also is evident in the advocacy and resources it provides, for disabled (developmentally, and physically) children, students, seniors, and their respective family members. Having PASCO’s CNA’s, nurses, administrators, schedulers all very familiar with home health, our experience goes directly into quality services for the consumer, while also very capable of problem solving when things are not going smoothly and adjustments need to be made.
PASCO offers its full complement of services (Skilled Nursing, CNA, Pediatric Hospice/Respite, Personal Care, IHSS) as well as its comprehensive back-up system throughout Colorado’s Front Range (Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, Gilpin, Jefferson, Larimer, Park & Weld counties) daily.
On-Call, Back-Up Services
PASCO provides On- Call, Back-Up services to clients who receive Home Health Aides and IHSS services when there could be a disruption in care. For persons with severe disabilities living alone and physically dependent upon an Aide or Attendant to provide services to them, two, three or four times a day, 365 days of the year, problems occur. When they do, PASCO has an extensive system backing up such individuals, day and night. 24/7/365
When asked on our annual evaluation, “was the PASCO on-call system helpful in resolving your need for calling” – one anonymous client stated: “The on-call service is beyond good; I have not seen anyone in the 20 years of being disabled and seven different agencies being this competent. This is a hallmark of a wonderful agency.”
